The Eiffel Tower which is the icon of France is located on the Champ de March in Paris,France.The name of this tower has been named after Gustave Eiffel the designer of it.About 300 workers worked together. Architect Stephen Sauvestre along with engineers Emile Nouguier and Maurice Koechlin assisted Eiffel.It was started it's building on 31 March 1889 and was opened on 6 May 1889.It is noticeable that,the great scientist Thomas Alva Edison visited Eiffel Tower on 10 September 1989 and wrote the message in guestbook,"To M Eiffel the Engineer the brave builder of so gigantic and original specimen of modern Engineering from one who has the greatest respect and admiration for all Engineers including the great Engineer the Bon Dieu, Thomas Edison."(collected from wikipedia)Eiffel tower has been considered a great structure also a historical construction in the world.It is the most visited tower that has been paying from it's visitors.
